While digging through the Marks & Spencer site, I also found these. You never know when you might need a simple slingback summery wedge to complete a look, but they sure do come in handy every once in a while.
These make a cheap, understated option that may not be the sexiest on the market (see the recent Schuh take on the idea for comparison), but certainly does the trick. Like the vast majority of the M&S shoes, these have a slight mumsy feel to them, rather than an outright vampy, femme fatale thing, but we are dealing with a retro look here, so that is not entirely unwelcome.
At least you know they’ll be reasonably well made for that price and comfortable enough to walk or dance in.
