Swedish mega-retailer, H&M, usually have tonnes of vegan shoes in their collections and they’re great for keeping up with current trends. Seeing as it’s officially Sale Season, I’ve collected some reduced vegan shoes, boots and trainers here. There are lots more on the site.
Their shoes are generally reasonably priced and are a great alternative to leather shoes when it comes to finding stuff to wear to work or to look reasonably smart without spending a fortune. I don’t work in an office anymore, but when I did, they were my go to store for finding my “fake it till I make it” vegan footwear.
H&M are great, because they list all the materials, including those used for the sole and lining. I’m not sure what glue they use and that’s always a risk with big, non-vegan retailers, so keep that in mind if you’re a purist.
Here are some of the cool shoes H&M has for us this season.

Vegan H&M Buckle Boots
These very useful black and fake fur leopard print buckle boots are smart enough to wear to all but the most anal of workplaces, but the buckles, pointy toes and leopard print give them an indie twist, so you don’t have to feel like a total sell out. Dress them down and you can easily wear them to a gig without looking like a suit.

H&M Vegan Platform Sandals
Functional black satin platform sandals. They look kinda old-fashioned somehow, so definitely good for when you want to look smart and sensible, as well as, well, taller. Great for work parties and for meeting your boyfriend’s parents for the first time. They also come in burgundy.

H&M Vegan Glitter Trainers
If you’ve been following this blog, then you already you know how much I like shiny things. These are definitely shiny things. Cute, simple and with a nice chunky platform to give you a bit of height, these can make any boring outfit look a little bit less glam (as you can see in the picture on the H&M site).

Black H&M Embroidered Trainers (Vegan!)
Another cute pair of trainers with a fun twist. These look like leather trainers, but surprise! They are not. If you want black trainers (because, hell, who doesn’t?) but want something a little bit more girlie, these totally work.

Red Fake Leather Ankle Boots
How did I miss these and the next ones when I was searching for red and green vegan shoes? Nevermind, here they are. Neat leather-look heeled vegan ankle boots in a very useful shade of red. Only £30 on the UK site, too. You can dress these up or down with everything from jeans to a party dress. If your wardrobe is missing some sort of on-trend red boot then you could do worse.
Here they are.
Green Vegan Satin Heels
Shiny shiny green satin heels to wear to parties, smart outings and nights out on the town. It’s not easy to find green shoes at all, let alone vegan green shoes (trust me on this) and these are only £16.99 on the UK site. Perfect for your best friend’s wedding.
