Vegan Fluevog vintage ankle boots

vegan fluevog ankle boots Oh sweet mother of awesome! Fluevog make such gorgeous shoes but I always thought they were all leather. But while it’s true they are 99% leather, they also make a couple of vegan ones and these absolutely lovely vintage / retro boots are one of those styles.

Just the heel alone is worth spending the money. Oh yeah, they are totally not cheap, these, but they are ever so delectable so why let a few hundred bucks come between you and true love?

Considering how hot their leather shoes are, having ones made of microfibre or canvas or whatever these are seems a bit, well, second best, but it’s definitely more eco-friendly than having shoes made out of PVC. Plus, you need only look at these to realise how incredibly hot they’re going to make you look.

You can get these from Endless.com

Vegan high heel brogues

high heel brogues Another one to add to the list of vegan brogues and wingtip shoes – these lovely vegan high-heel oxfords from Beyond Skin. They’re called “serpent” and it’s not difficult to see why, cause they are totally femme fatale material – so superbly vampy.

The addition of a 4″ heel to the originally masculine oxford pattern is not new, but Beyond Skin do it with style and grace. These definitely top the list for a pin up bombshell vegan brogue.

These shoes are handmade in Spain to be hard-wearing and comfortable. They are certainly hot enough to be party shoes, but also smart enough to be very stylish work shoes. Check out the video of the shoes in action on the Beyond Skin site, very film noir (in a colourful, sunny sort of way).

I’m loving the extra femme fatale red contrasted with black in this colour combo, but you could also happily opt for more traditional grey and black or all-brown versions.

These hot vegan brogues are available from Beyond Skin.

Vegan starlet slingback kitten heels

Vegan slingback heels Oh the weather outside is frightful… Actually, I escaped winter this year (ha!) and while it’s not exactly summery either, it’s warm enough for me to be dreaming of hot retro slingback starlet heels like these!

They’re oh so wonderfully girlie and sweet with the bows and two-tonedness. And is that a little heart-shaped background for the logo? Yes, they are by Rocket Dog and another fine example they are of why they are such a popular brand for both vegan shoe wearers and meat-eaters alike.
These are cute, sexy and kitten-heeled for instant comfort and style. Pure retro-chic glamour with a summery feel. Awww.

They’re also currently on sale at Schuh (maybe because it’s snowing outside?). They’re called Fray tea time.

Vegan purple low heel shoes

Vegan purple low heels Polka dots, a bow, a little bar… These lovely vegetarian shoes have got it all when it comes to girly cuteness, and the sensible heel, the patent finish and the slightly sombre deep purple tone help make them somewhat doll-like. I do love the quirkiness and, obviously, the colour. It’s the kind of shoes a stylish, arty and ever so slightly geeky girl would wear with dark green tights, a clever little vintage dress and a funky hat. I know you can see it too.

I reckon they would make quite good dancing shoes, as the sole is bound to be quite plasticy and so not too grippy (good for those spins and turns). I’m all about sensible heels when it comes to dancing!

Apart from being ultra cute, they are also now on sale at Debenhams at a stupidly low price. This must mean they’ll be gone soon, as I guess they are not quite wintery!

Vegan peep toe heels – Timeless Twist

I absolutely love these beautiful vintage-look heels by Timeless!

I discovered Timeless shoes a while back, in a little shoe shop next to where I live. I remember thinking “these shoes look far too nice, I bet they’re leather” and then being overjoyed when I realised they were 100% synthetic. A few random places in London carry their range, but because of their rather generic name, they can be difficult to find online.

Timeless Twist retro heels

These heelsĀ  are sexy and sophisticated, like something you’d wear if you were a burlesque starlet or a pin-up girl. They would certainly add some retro chic to an elegant evening outfit too. The twist that gave these shoes their name is a nice touch and very retro (and therefore very trendy).

The baby blue colour is quite unusual. It might not be to everyone’s liking but I think it’s pretty lovely.

Timeless shoes are cheap and cheerful but still look absolutely beautiful on. These peep toe heels are no different and would definitely make you stand out.

To make things even better, they are now on sale at oli.co.uk!
