Mad but stylish vegan sandals with mouse detail

vegan sandals with mouse detail Another mad one from Melissa Shoes. How can sandals look at once so stylish and so crazy?
Yes, that is a plastic mouse stuck on the side of the sandal. Don’t ask me why there is a plastic mouse there, there just is. However, the funky pattern makes these sandals look oddly classy for footwear adorned with a plastic mouse. I actually tagged these with smart casual, as I think you could get away with wearing them somewhere that requires a fashionable attire but can tolerate a certain amount of funk.

I found these on the Melissa site (where there are plenty more colours) but these particular ones are on sale from the Asos site.

Cool vegan low wedge sandals

vegan low wedge sandals These cute low wedges sandals from M&S are functional, cute and dressy enough, even though they are practically flat.

They’d look great with jeans or summery dresses and would work well as funky holiday shoes. Nothing too high fashion or outrageous, but perfectly nice if you match them with something fun.

They look pretty sturdy and easy to walk around in, too, which helps if you’re going to take them out on the town on your holiday.

You can get them from the M&S site.

Smart casual vegan mens trainers

smart casual vegan men's trainers Leather trainers look smarter than canvas trainers, sad but true. But here’s a pair of vegan trainers for the boys that look just as smart-casual as the leather ones.

Not quite my style, I must say, but they do a good job of matching some of the popular leather styles I’ve seen around and are apparently very ethical as well as being 100% vegan. They look quite Italian in style, actually, which is echoed by the name of the company, although I think they are in the US.

You can get these directly from the company’s site – Ragazzi Vegan.

Vegan nautical espadrille flats

vegan nautical espadrille flats Well, summer must be coming if shoes like these are up on the sites. These Rocket Dog “cookout yacht club” flats are sort of like espadrilles, sort of like mary jane flats and generally very cute. Smart- casual enough for the middle class yachting enthusiast, while still being trendy and funky enough to provide cute beach holiday shoes for the rest of us. They also come in a navy & white colour combination, for an even more classic look.

You can get these cute, functional holiday shoes from Schuh.

Vegan slingback mid heel sandals

vegan slingback mid heel sandas Here’s another plastic / rubber creation from Marc Jacobs. This time, for the more grown up in style. These cute, Italian-made little black heels are classic enough to go with your little black dress. More importantly, look at how shiny and sleek they are!

They definitely get my vote for cool summer sandals you can dress down (cause they’re rubber) or up (cause of the design) and wear with everything – short, long, casual or even smart. Ish.

You can get them from Zappos.

simple and effective Vegan faux suede boots

vegan suede boots These faux suede boots from Vegetarian Shoes look like great every day casual to smart casual boots. They’re simple and comfortable-looking with a low heel and you could obviously wear them with just about anything. I like the pointy toe. I guess that’s why they call them “Pixie boots”.

You could dress them up or down, for work or play and they’d be fine. If you’re the sort of person who fixates on one pair of shoes and wears them all the time till they die, then fixate on these – they’ll work out just fine.

They are simple, but most likely much better made than the cheap knock offs you’re likely to get in the usual faux suede department.

Oddly enough, it’s sometimes very easy to find weird and wonderful vegan shoes, but not so much your simple but stylish every day shoe. Vegetarian Shoes are good at producing good every day, functional footwear and every once in a while they have something that’s really very cool. These boots are a fine example of that.

You can get them from the Vegetarian Shoes website.
