OK, so these heels are a bit breakneck, but if they were a guy I’d be totally making a fool of myself right now. And probably in vain, because they’re pink! Check out the goodies – we have a sexy fishnet pattern, skulls, bows, even a little pink skull charm, by the looks of it. Oh and, of course, black and white stripes for that sexy punk/courtesan feel. I do believe these are the perfect vegan, somewhat edgy pin up shoes for all your flirting-with-goth needs.
Oh yeah and they’re totally on sale right now at Schuh. Get in there quickly while there are still a few sizes left!
Here’s a pair of shoes for all you fans of low heels, shiny heels and showgirl heels. These look a bit like something out of a chorus line, with sparkly bows and a colour-shifting fabric upper (with faux leather trims). They look like they’ll make fun dancing shoes, if you’re not keen on skyscraper heels but want to look girlie and retro.
The description says they’re purple, too, though I can’t quite tell in the picture. They seem more like a cross between purple and turquoise.
Either way, you can get them at Schuh.

I am totally loving these lush red crushed velvet party heels from Poetic License. They have a bow, sparkle stones and even a glittery lining. If orange and dark red are your colours (and very festive and warming they are for your wintery or Christmasy party) then I reckon I just made you a very happy gal. Let’s face it – they’re loud.
I’ve tagged them with both pin up and burlesque, because red velvet is a good choice for your pin up corsetry.
You can get these from Irregular Choice.
Finally! Party season is just around the corner, so boring winter boots are finally starting to give way a bit to some pretty, glittery shoes.
These pretty red ones have a comfortable heel and will be good for Christmas parties or dressing up as Dorothy for some of you, while providing much needed pin up heel goodness for others. I know my vegan burlesque performer friends will be ever so pleased to see these. There’s always room in my shoe box for red glitter!
You can get these from Schuh.
These ultra-chic vegan peep toe heels by Draven are really doing it for me right now. Red with black and white polka dots – you’d need to work really hard to mess this one up. In this case, all is well and the shoes are absolutely gorgeous. I like the big red button closure too. Not sure what it says, but who cares? The heel looks high but solid, like most of the alternative new-retro heels around, so handy if you want to be a bit more practical but still show off a massive heel.
I so want these. I know you so do too.
You can get them from the Draven site for a mere $49. Handy eh?
Well, someone had better pinch me, cause I’m pretty sure I’ve gone to shoe-dream heaven!
I know these are nautical and I already wrote about quite a few nautical shoes this week. I also know they are by Miss L Fire and on Office shoes, which also featured quite heavily this week. But, I mean, look at these!
Totally digging the gold trip and the rosette, plus red and white stripes are always fun.
Seriously, just looking at these absolutely lovely peep toe wedges has been getting me all excited in so many ways. The rosette comes off, if you so choose, just like the flower in the other Miss L Fire wedges I wrote about yesterday. I so totally want these as well. Now I need to decide whether I can afford to buy both. Meanwhile, I will continue to drool over both.
These also come in black and you can get them from, yes, Office.
Oh my god! How incredibly amazing are these?
The woven effect and pineapple wedge are so cool and the flower is detachable, though I think it looks pretty cool right where it is.
I totally and utterly want these. They are by Miss L Fire who make lots of gorgeous shoes, though the majority of them are not vegan. These particular ones are from the summer line which does seem to feature a few other vegan shoes. I’ll be sure to write about those too in due time. In the meantime, you should know that these also come in a red / white combo.
You can get them from Office.
Tis the season to be…nautical. Apparently!
Actually, who am I kidding? Tis always the season to be nautical.
These fluffy, summery wedges are by Iron Fist, who usually make somewhat darker-edges shoes for the psychobilly minded. These are far more retro-inspired. Very 50s and pin up.
My friend found them and posted the link on Facebook, so obviously I had to immediately steal them for this blog.
So now you know and can buy a pair too. But if you see a woman called Virginia wearing them, remember she found them first!
You can get these from Office.
Let’s face it – nobody does vegan pin up heels quite like TUK. They just seem to consistently deliver hot, perfectly wearable shoes. These beautiful red pin up heels are a very fine example of the above.
A mad fashion designer once told me that red shoes are notorious for being uncomfortable, but you wear them anyway.
I’ve had my share of uncomfortable red shoes, but the one pair of really gorgeous but comfortable red pin up heels I have are made by TUK. I’m inclined to believe these new ones are comfortable too.
The heels are big enough to make you extra tall, but the platform is wide enough to feel stable and the strap will hold you in place for even more support. That aside, look at how incredibly hot they are!
You can get these from the TUK website directly.
They also come in black.
Pure rockabilly fetish heaven! Here’s another totally outrageous pair of super high heels from Penthouse shoes. I’ve written about another pair of their vegan high heels before and I’m really getting into this brand. I wonder if they’re called Penthouse cause their heels are so high?
Not all their shoes have tattoos on them, but for some reason I seem to be drawn to those that do. So here we have a cute “love & hate” tattoo design on the platform, with a sexy red mock crock and a cute little key charm dangling from the heel. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ve also got cherries, swallows and stars everywhere. These guys take no prisoners when it comes to loading up on the rockabilly imagery. Pure pin up class all the way, baby!
Yes, I know these aren’t particularly practical unless you were born in heels, but posing also works for me. They are just soooo cool.
You can get these hot hot heels from Amazon / Endless.
Sparkle sparkle! Yup, we’re back to Pleaser Bordello. I love this label and I’m going to go over each and every one of their shoes during this blog’s lifespan.
These lovely sequin heels come in a few different colour combinations (including a very hot red) and just look really really nice. I like the fact that they are all quite light colours, cause I’ve often found it’s a bit difficult to find shoes to go with my lighter vintage ensembles.
I don’t know what they’re like to wear. I’ve heard mixed reports about Pleaser shoes. They look like they’d be nice to dance in, but who knows. The one thing that’s definite is that they look pretty damn hot, so you’re at the very least going to look like you’re a part of a 50s musical chorus line.
They’re available on Amazon.
Happy Christmas everyone! And look what the shoe Santa has brought you. These topical vegan platforms are glittery and green (with a bit of gold) and perfect for all you happy little elves to party in. They are so mad, I have been dreaming about them for weeks. In this case, I do think a picture is worth more than even a whole thousand words. I mean, how incredibly cool are these?
They are by Pleaser’s Bordello range (I told you to remember that name) and are aimed at the burlesque-minded with the lacing and all. They are, however, also a bit disco at the same time with all that glitter and huge chunky platform (5″). Oddly enough, they also remind me a bit of something a Mexican wrestler would wear. Maybe it’s the combination of the lacing and bright green glitter that has evoked this image. Obviously, Mexican wrestlers don’t wear huge platforms, but maybe they should? Either way, these are definitely showstopping shoes.
I’m not sure what I’d wear these with but I know I want them. They are the sort of shoes you build an outfit around if you don’t already have one ready. You could actually just wear a nondescript black outfit with them and still look absolutely wicked. No one would be looking at the rest of you.
These are available via Amazon.com.
