Vegan slight wedge sandals with bow

vegan bow sandals Summer is apparently on its way out, judging by the sudden appearance of autumn boot styles in the shops. Here at Vegan Shoe Addict, though, I’m going to hold on to every last bit of sunshine, damnit!

Here’s some sandals for you, as we still have a few weeks of summer yet.

These simple but fashionable sandals have a slight wedge for a bit of extra height and poise but are still flat enough for comfort. They are made out of a lovely shiny vegan material and come in a whole load of colours apart from this classic black (red, yellow, blue, etc.).

It’s amazing how the addition of something as simple as a bow can make these look instantly rockabilly / retro. They may not be the full blown pin up heel version, but you could easily wear them with your 50s cut dress and go about your business without anyone questioning your retro credentials too much.

You can get them at Office.

Vegan designer plastic peep toe pumps by Melissa

vegan designer pumps Well, I was at an event at a designer fashion boutique last night where there was supposedly a sale on this year’s Vivienne Westwood winter collection. Well, to be fair, there was a sale, but I had forgotten how much that stuff costs to begin with, so left with nothing but some pictures of one attendee’s vegan shoes (that will follow), a glass of cheap champagne and an expensive hangover.

This, however, reminded me of the joy of Melissa Shoes and how everyone can affordably own a pair of beautiful Vivienne Westwood shoes, albeit in funky plastic.

These are the famed Melissa Ultragirl shoes, with added bow (lovely) and a whole new see-through leopard print thing going on. Spot the very obvious Vivienne Westwood logo on the side. You can also get them in black with a leopard print bow, though I quite like this version myself.

I found these on Amazon.com

Pink vegan wedge slingback bow sandals

pink vegan wedge slingback shoes Behold these cute retro wedge sandals! They are called the Caden Bow and are of Schuh’s own brand. Girlie, pink and flowery seems to be very in this coming season, at least according to Schuh, and these fit right in there, ready-made to complete your 50s housewife garden party look or your rockabilly pool party look, whichever you prefer. The flower pattern the lining’s made out of could go either way, really. The wedge is 8cm high at its tallest point, so while definitely a good size, isn’t too insane either. If you like the pattern inside, then there is also a version with that on the outside, although I am not sure whether the lining for that is vegan (I would assume so because of the pricing and my knowledge of Schuh, but am not 100% certain).

You can get these from Schuh.

The cutest flat vegan bow sandals

vegan flat bow sandals “Oh my god, I want these!” I cried. Yes, I actually did say this out loud when I saw these online. How cute? They come in a bunch of bold colours and they are just so summery and sweet.
I know summer in the UK seems very far off, but who cares? I could parade in front of the mirror in these and feel just as pleased with myself. I’m so totally in shoe-lust with these.

Leggings, skinny jeans, skirts, dresses, these would go with anything. The bow makes them somewhat retro, so I tagged them with that, though obviously they didn’t have shiny green PVC back in the 20s when art deco was the latest trend (these sandals are said to be art deco on the Chinese Laundry site). Either way, they fit the bill perfectly for a casual but different sandal.

You can get them from the Chinese Laundry site.
