More shoes for sale – United Nude knee high boots

Vegan United Nude boots More of my shoes for sale today. These are original United Nude boots, from one of the seasons before they started shoving leather into everything. These are made of fabric, are knee high and feature a picture of some sort of landscape. They are very light and I’m sure they’ll be comfortable if they actually fit you. The heels are the highest ones that UN do. The width around the calves can be adjusted.

I got these off eBay ages ago but they are a tiny bit too small for me which makes them uncomfortable. They’re meant to be 5 UK / 38 Euro but I’d say you need to be on the small side of size 5 and you could maybe even get away with being a 4.5. I don’t think they have been worn much (if at all) before I got them and I never actually got around to wearing them, because they weren’t the right size!

I’ll happily take offers around £10 for them.

Vegan one of a kind upcycled canvas boots

Vegan zombie knee high boots Now, before you get too excited about these particular vegan boots, you should know that these were one of a kind and have already sold. The good news is that the person who sells these on Etsy (where I have been spending some days looking at vegan shoes) will make you similar ones. In fact, there’s a whole load of different styles you can get in customised Converse-like knee high boots (with a zip) and there’s even another type of vegan boot that isn’t Converse that you can get customised.

They’re not all doom and gloom, by the way, I just liked these.

Check them out on Etsy.

Cute vegan white floral ankle boots

Vegan floral boots I do so like these. They look sort of like desert boots but crossed with a lovely retro fabric all flowery and sweet.

There’s definitely a fashion statement to be had here of the quirky and fun variety. It’s like instant spring on your feet, which is a very cheery thing indeed.

These flowery fabrics seem to be making quite the comeback on shoes as of late. I’ve seen a few other hits in this general trend that I’m going to write about soon.

For now, you can get your hands on these if you’re quick enough. They’re available now on Modcloth.

Colourful vegan high top fashion trainers

These fun vegan trainers are made out of nylon and fabric and can apparently be put through the washing machine repeatedly and come out clean and fresh. They come from Brasil, where people are encouraged to wear them to the beach without using socks, and are meant to be breathable and comfortable.

The company, MAZ, apparently keeps bringing out new colour combinations and styles (boots, lace up trainers, velcro-fastened trainers, etc.) for men and women and never repeat the same colour combo twice. I’m pretty sure just about all their shoes are unisex and come in a huge range of sizes, plus kids’ sizes. I’ve picked a particularly girly one to show here, but I assure you there are plenty of colourful manly designs to please the vegan macho man as well.

Yet another awesome footwear company from Brazil, the country that’s given us Melissa Shoes and a few other similar vegan shoe companies. Thanks, Brasil! You guys rock.

You can check out the range of MAZ shoes at the MAZ website. It’s in Portuguese, though. Supposedly you can find out more about how to get them in the UK by mailing: mazfashion@hotmail.co.uk which seems to be some sort of franchise or private import enterprise (here they are on Facebook). You can also check out the more readily available (in the UK, at least) Jinga trainers, also from Brasil.

Vegan Japanese unisex cyber boots

Japanese vegan unisex boots Well, drool me a river! It’s never been easy to pull off the sexy, Gibsonesque, cyberpunk look while still being 100% vegan, but things just got easier. Even better, these gorgeous, futuristic boots are unisex. That’s right, they come in both men’s and women’s sizes! They’re by Fugu shoes, a Japanese company (of course). Have you donated to the Earthquake appeal yet?

They’re made of canvas and are high-tops, so are sort of trainer-like and Converse-like, but, to put it nicely – we’re talking fashion Fiesta Vs cyber Rolls Royce. The best thing about these, though, is that they’ll look equally as great with just normal street clothes – jeans and a T shirt. You don’t have to go crazy with your cyber look, but they’ll make you instantly a thousand times cooler as soon as you put them on.

You can get them from A Sense of Fashion, where there are plenty more Fugu Shoes for you to drool at.

Vegan fringed knee high boots

Vegan fringed bootsPocahontas, eat your heart out! Yes, these very suede-like looking boots are actually made out of imitation suede. Thank you H&M! I’m so glad they’re selling shoes now. They used to have the most amazing shoes on their display mannequins but none for sale in the actual shops. That was years ago, though, and this is now. Most of their shoes are leather-free as well, it would seem.

So if you’re feeling the fringe and the overall Native American vibe, these are definitely the boots for you.

I’ve tagged them with both knee high and over the knee because I’m not quite sure what they are from the picture. They sort of look like they could come just over the knee, but they could also come up to just under it. If anyone has these, please do let me know which one it is!

You can get them from H&M.

My new Rocket Dog chelsea boots

Vegan women's chelsea boots I am so happy I got these in a sale!

I’ve been looking for something vegan and boot-like for ages and this city has nothing! All the gorgeous boots I’ve seen have been leather leather leather and the only vegan stuff has been crap. These aren’t quite the glorious designer knee-highs I’ve been craving, but they’ll go with all the stuff I’ve got with me and they’re ace. They’re very comfortable and fit true to size. I’ve tried them on with a thick sock, too.

They are by Rocket Dog and they have a label sewn inside that tells you they’re 100% synthetic. I am mentioning this because some places that sell these claim they are leather, but they are not. They are definitely synthetic. They’re called Yonder. They also come in brown.

You can get them from lots of places but here they are on Amazon.

I also got a pair of these. I thought from the pics that they would be rubbery, like rain boots, but they are actually shiny plastic. I looked at a few other colours and they were all made out the same material. They are very comfortable, but run 1-2 sizes small. I ended up buying 2 sizes up.

Vegan snow boots

Vegan snow boots OK. So these are both snow boots (which are generally ugly) and those shape up things (that usually look like corrective footwear). Look at how silver they are, though!

If you’re gonna go all ski bunny, you may as well go all out and wear a super silver boot that looks like something an astronaut would wear. When you’re done skiing and shaping up, you can go dance on a stage at a rave.

If skiing is not your thing, you can use them to get around London or any other city in Europe this and next week. As if keeping your balance through snow and ice won’t shape up your calves enough.

These are called Skechers Tone Ups Chalet Boots and you can get them from Schuh.

Vegan high-heeled hiking boots

Vegan high heeled hiking boots
There is a new trend of these high heeled “hiking boots”. I’m not sure what people are thinking – I wouldn’t hike in high heels if you paid me. I’ve heard it described somewhere as a new way of making women uncomfortable in a place so far untouched by the discomfort of heels. I mean, I know the heel is chunky and all, but would you really go down a rocky mountain in these?

Personally, I’d rather look at these as a way of bringing a bit of the great outdoors into your urban or semi-urban lifestyle. These are cute and look comfy and warm and will be
very comfortable in the city.

You can get them on Modcloth.

Western style vegan over the knee boots

vegan over the knee boots Hot over the knee boots by Rocket Dog that are not quite cowboy boots but still quite western anyway.
Also the first Rocket Dog shoes / boots that really caught my eye this year, so I was happy to discover they weren’t one of the annoying leathery styles they make. Sadly, my favourite Rocket Dog boots (the Nokout, I think they’re called) are leather, so I couldn’t buy them.
I wish I had a pair of these boots right now because my winter haven has turned out quite stormy these past couple of days. Oh well, I’ll have to settle for my Vegetarian Shoes Paraboots instead, unbeaten by mud, poisonous desert dust and heavy friend who tested their steel toes! Not quite as sexy as these, though (though I guess it depends on who you ask). I did spot a few Rocket Dog styles in a store in the cheap area of town the other day, so it might be time to investigate.

You can get these Rocket Dogs from Amazon.

Vegan Victorian ankle boots #2

Vegan victorian ankle boots You wait for ages for vegan Victorian ankle boots and then two pairs come along at once…

These are from Miss Selfridge with a pointy toe and a bit of brogue detailing.
The folded over collar looks like you should be able to unfold it and wear it up and it has eyelets and everything. Not sure if it’s all for show, though. If you end up buying them, please let me know!

You can get them from Miss Selfridge.

Drool-worthy vegan wooden wedge heels

Vegan designer wedge bootsI got so excited about these I accidentally posted this yesterday. If you were fast enough, you got a sneak preview. I could have let you have it, but no. You only get one post a day so here it is.

I gotta say that these utterly delectable vegan boots from Cri de Coeur are making me want to do things to shoes that shouldn’t be discussed in polite company. They have an actual wooden platform – not fake plastic wood. This makes me happy in a special way.

Unlike most shoes with a real wooden platform, though, they are made out of fake suede and fabric, without any leather in sight. The fact that they are also ethical and eco-friendly makes them even sexier.

I think I may actually be in love. Why don’t you run along now and look at them, so I can stay on my own for a little while and look at them too?

You can get them from Endless.com. For $390. Sigh.

Recycled TV designer vegan boots

Red vegan boots Olsen Haus shoes never cease to make me happy, so seeing as it’s a slow shoe news day when it comes to new, uncharted designers, I figured it’s time to check their current collection. These lovely red boots are made out of recycled TV screens. I’ve written before about the coolness that is wearing shoes that are made out of tellies. Sexy, eco-minded and subversive, all in the same boot. These have a hot hot wedge and a faux leather belt.

Check them out on the Olsen Haus site.
You’ll need to email them to buy these directly from them. Let me know how it works, as I’ve never tried :)

Vegan swirl boots

Vegan swirl boots The search for nice, vegan every day boots is always a sad, painful one. But here come Vegetarian Shoes to the rescue once again.

These may not be exactly high fashion, but I do like the swirly bits and they look reasonably stylish and very durable and comfy. They have a handy side zip and a grippy sole.
Being a veggie shoe boot, they’re also made ethically and are as eco friendly as possible. Oh yeah, they also come in brown.

You can get them from the Veggie Shoes site.

Big glitter wedge vegan boots

Vegan wedge boots Fake suede boots with big (12.5cm, so big but not drag queen big), glitter-covered heels by H&M. Pretty, funky and cheap and wedges are apparently still big this season.

I’m so glad H&M are selling more shoes nowadays. They always featured brilliant shoes in their displays in store, but for ages, you couldn’t actually buy the shoes. Now they seem to have quite a few styles in stock and the vast majority of them are vegan.

You can get these boots and more stuff from the H&M site.
