Office have a nasty habit of hiding leather linings in otherwise leather-free shoes, but their current sale also seems to be hiding a few 100% vegan treasures. OK, so it’s decidedly winter here in the UK and these are totally spring/summery, but I really like them anyway and now they’re almost half price. Maybe you can slap on some thick tights and wear them on a day when it’s not raining.

Here are some neat leopard print flats from Urban Outfitters. They have something of the 80s in them (they do go so well with skinny jeans or leggings) and are versatile, simple and fun. To make things even better, they are also under £30. The pattern itself is pretty funky – not your usual leopard print.
This could be good for standing out, though possibly not that great for matching with other leopard bits in an outfit. I like it, either way.

These Vera ballerina flats by Rocket Dog are pretty perfect for the changing season. I love functional shoes that deliver a bit of style with the function and these do the trick nicely. The big bows make them slightly more interesting than your average flat but they can be worn with everything without clashing.
Being flats, they are a bit more Minnie Mouse than Betty Boop when it comes to retro finery, but I know many of my readers prefer flats to heels and these would definitely dress you up good without taxing your comfort levels.

OK, so ballet flats are not exactly exciting, but they’re very useful – I end up wearing mine nearly all the time. Sometimes you just need a nice pair of every day shoes to put on. Shoes that are presentable, comfortable, versatile and pretty. Well, here they are.
Animal print never go out of fashion and neither will ballet flats. The knot effect at the vamp gives them a nice twist to keep things interesting and… voila! The perfect every day shoe. They come in a huge huge range of colours and fabrics. Not just animal prints – solids, lace, flower patterns, etc. Some are supposedly silk though, so beware.

These cute vegan lace up jellies by F-Troupe are listed as “bathing shoes”, whatever that is. I guess that’s the only way brightly coloured, flat jelly pumps can get onto a semi posh designer’s collection. 
Whether you want to bathe in them is really your choice, but they are shiny and pretty and the open sides make them airy too. Good for summer, for your holiday or just to show off the electro-like brightness or funkiness. They come in lots of other colours. The ones available on this site are this blue, black or pink.

These cute and simple flat elastic pumps by Babycham have a cherry on top. Here it is!
They also have the very cute Babycham bamby logo on the back, plus a funky contrasting lining thing going on.
All in all, a handy pair of casual every day shoes with a sporty feel and a stylish edge. They might not turn heads, but anyone who does look at them will probably comment on how cool they are.

Here’s another winner from the Rocket Dog simple, casual, yet funky shoe department. These trainer-esque flats come in either this handy grey or classic black and have lovely polka dot lining and, most importantly, a large polka dot bow at the front with a cute Rocket Dog logo button. You can practically wear them with anything and get a few “aaaaaaws” along the way.
They are called “Pogo”, maybe because they are so cute they’ll make you want to bounce around like an overexcited 5 year old.

If you’re looking for ultra-girlie summer trainers then I do believe you may have found them. They have a totally young and casual vibe. Sort of…Middle class bohemian – virginal but easily corruptible (you know, cause they’re pale).
Just picture them with a white summery dress or jeans for the perfectly sexy “just fell out of bed and slipped those on” look.
They come in a few other colours, including an all white lace option which is also ultra cute.

These Ventura flats by Rocket Dog are casual, girlie and simple, but they have neat piping and a pretty rosette to make them stand out from your average casual ballet pump. They look a bit like trainers, but not quite. Sort of like a hybrid between a ballerina pump and Vans.
They make cute and comfy shoes to slip on when you’re going somewhere that doesn’t quite require dressing up, but they’ll still look more fashionable than just plain black flats.

These ultra-chic vegan peep toe heels by Draven are really doing it for me right now. Red with black and white polka dots – you’d need to work really hard to mess this one up. In this case, all is well and the shoes are absolutely gorgeous. I like the big red button closure too. Not sure what it says, but who cares? The heel looks high but solid, like most of the alternative new-retro heels around, so handy if you want to be a bit more practical but still show off a massive heel.
I so want these. I know you so do too.

How utterly cool! Here’s a wicked twist on your usual casual, simple canvas round-toed flats – a funky voodoo doll design. To make things even cooler, each shoe in the pair is different. I’ve seen quite a few shoe companies use this trick and it works really well, but usually it’s all leather. Boo.
These, however, are totally vegan. They are by Draven who make a whole load of cool vegan shoes that I will be reviewing on this very website soon. Check in this week for more Draven action, as I really like these guys.

They look comfy and seem great to wear with everything, as ballet pumps usually are, only you get the benefit of dancing skeletons and pretty flowers on the inside. Very Day of the Dead, I think you’ll find. These are so fun! I really want a pair of these. They’re by Irregular Choice, which is why they are so bright and crazy, even though they have a relatively simple shape. The other shoes in this range come with a fabric top, I think, but I am pretty sure these are rubber / plastic rather than fabric.
These are the sort of shoes that would make any simple outfit shine. You can instantly stand out even if you’re just wearing jeans and a t shirt. The lazy fashionista in me loves that.

Well, the sale is definitely on at Office Shoes, so it’s time to check out the vegan offerings and grab a few bargains. These sweet and simple vegan slingbacks are only £15 right now and if the British summer is to continue as well as it has been then you can never have too many cute sandals.
I’ve tagged these with retro mostly because of the polka dots, but I think they’re retro-esque enough to play along nicely with vintage stuff. Apart from that they look like they could be fun shoes to wear with just about anything summery.
