Vegan patent slingback bow sandals

It’s time for another pair of simple, summery and versatile heels. These peep toe sandals may not be the most outrageous or exciting, but they are the sort of shoes you can wear with everything.

Sometimes you just want simple, uncomplicated and useful shoes without all the designer or supertrend fanfare. Well, here they are.

If these were an outing, they’d be a few friends meeting in a chic cafe on a Saturday afternoon, rather than a wild night on the town, which isn’t to say you can’t wear these with your hot little black dress and make them work. It’s just the spirit of the thing, you know: all summery and girlie and stuff.

Anyway, you can get them from Next.

Vegan silver glitter peep toe heels

vegan silver glitter heels Well, you never know when you might need a pair of cheap silver glitter heels. I’d say, any time you want to make a bit of a memorable entrance, exit and, well, evening. You know people will be looking at your feet if you wear these.

They’re pretty cheap, which means we’re in the realm of cheapo vegan shoes. Coupled with them being high heels, they might not be the most comfortable heels on the block, but you never know. I’ve had some good luck with cheap buys, but also some bad luck. What’s certain is that these would fit very well with your sparkly outfit or even with your otherwise bland outfit you want to liven up a bit.

You can get these vegan party heels from Amazon.

Hot vegan high stiletto tattoo heels

vegan stiletto heels Pure rockabilly fetish heaven! Here’s another totally outrageous pair of super high heels from Penthouse shoes. I’ve written about another pair of their vegan high heels before and I’m really getting into this brand. I wonder if they’re called Penthouse cause their heels are so high?

Not all their shoes have tattoos on them, but for some reason I seem to be drawn to those that do. So here we have a cute “love & hate” tattoo design on the platform, with a sexy red mock crock and a cute little key charm dangling from the heel. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ve also got cherries, swallows and stars everywhere. These guys take no prisoners when it comes to loading up on the rockabilly imagery. Pure pin up class all the way, baby!

Yes, I know these aren’t particularly practical unless you were born in heels, but posing also works for me. They are just soooo cool.

You can get these hot hot heels from Amazon / Endless.

Cute vegan t-bar mid heel sandals

vegan t bar sandals Comfortable heels, a neat t-bar design and, most importantly – purple!

Well, there is a review on the site from someone who’s bought these and it says they are more blue than purple. I’m guessing it might be a sort of indigo or blueish purple, which is still fine by me.

I’m a sucker for the t-bar look, I must say. Don’t ask me why but I just am. Coupled with the low heels these are pretty retro, which, if you read this blog regularly, you’ll know I’m also a sucker for. I must say the he price is pretty retro too, at 25UKP.

If spring ever comes, these are the shoes to greet it in. Roll on summer!
Oh yeah, they also come in black.

You can get these vegan t-bar retro sandals from Very.co.uk.

Mad vegan high fronted petal heels

Well, these are pretty odd aren’t they? Sort of like some sort of foot-flower thing. They have a zipper on the back too, to add to the sexiness. Definitely an unusual pair of shoes and pretty cheap too.

There’s something about these that makes them rather sexy, I think. They could be paired up with a slinky, sexy outfit and almost be quite fetishy.

Oddly enough, they also come in a weird shade of pink too (also with silver). I think the black is definitely the winner here, though.

You can get these weird vegan heels from Dorothy Perkins.

Vegan pink leopard print high heels

vegan pink leopard print heels Bold animal patterns seem to still be doing well nowadays, so here’s another pair of heels that fits in with the whole 80s scheme of things AND the animal pattern scheme. Not exactly red carpet material but as cheap, fun and loud as a sitcom college girlfriend.

If you like pink, then these are definitely for you. Otherwise – probably not so much. They do have a bit of the bimbo in them, but in a fun way that doesn’t take itself too seriously (I hope) so you could work them into quite a tongue in cheek look.

Alternatively, you could be dead serious about the whole thing, but I would probably advise against it.

You can get these from Dorothy Perkins.

Vegan mad 80s skull and rose heels

vegan skull and rose heels The week of canvas trainers is behind us, so it’s time to break away from that look for a bit and go for something totally and utterly different!

Well, here we have the Mombassa punk heels from Iron Fist. If by “punk” they mean sort of 80s and trashy then they hit the nail on the head. Not sure about the Mombassa bit, but I do like the whole skull and rose thing they’ve got going on. I wonder if the bright colour scheme looked somewhat like African fabric to someone, hence the name? It does look a bit Sunday best if you ignore the skulls.

Either way,These are perfect for your hot, trashy bimbo outfit. I mean, you could wear them with something a bit more traditional and subdued, but why bother?

You could totally live out your 80s road movie fantasy in these. Or your Madonna wannabe fantasy, or, well, plenty of other fantasies, really, as long as they’re sort of 80s and punkish.

You can get these at Schuh.

Retro 90s vegan canvas heels

vegan canvas heels Well, it was only a matter of time, wasn’t it? It’s now a full 20 years since 1990 and the 90s retro stuff starts appearing. Yes, apparently there is 90s retro and this is it. Shoes like these canvas high heels. They’re a bit weird, let’s be honest, but true to the grungy and chunky spirit of the times.

They are Schuh’s own brand and as you can see they have a very chunky heel and somewhat of a trainer-like feel. I remember owning something similar myself in the 90s.

I wasn’t even convinced there *was* a 90s look that could be brought out of retirement and into vintage stores, but this is apparently it and it does make sense. So if you want to relive the wonder years of 90s fashion, now’s your chance. Oh yeah…Don’t laugh at the concept of 90s retro. 80s retro has been around for ages now, so this is the next logical step.

These are called the carrie bar shoes and you can get them from Schuh.

Silver and red sexy vegan slingbacks

vegan silver slingbacks I am rather fond of silver shoes and these are totally cool. I love the red bits and the stitching effect is a really nice touch too. This is another shoe that could probably work with a deco look if you weren’t too fussed about being 100% authentic but just wanted to look stylishly cool.

These shoes are by Neuaura who are a 100% vegan shoe company. I want to really like their shoes, but I don’t always, because some of them, I find, don’t look that great up close (at least in pictures, I’ve never actually seen one in the flesh, I must disclose). These, however, look pretty cool. The shiny patent finish in the silver colour means they’ll get attention no matter what and everyone will be too blinded by their shiny, reflective light to think anything but happy thoughts about the whole experience.

You can get these at Vegan Chic.

vegan espadrille wedges

vegan wedges Oooooh nautical! I’m a sucker for a nice nautical wedge and these vegan wedges are so extra cute with the red bow and the lovely back heel woven bit that looks like it’ll actually hold your foot in quite well. I’ve seen plenty of espadrille and espadrille wedges before but this is definitely a nice, unusual touch. Pretty pretty and great for spring if it ever comes. They’d be lovely with a 50s dress or, obviously, some kind of nautical themed outfit.

You can get these from Next.

Vegan retro mid heel black and white shoes

vegan black mid heel retro black & white Here’s a cool pair of shiny retro heels in classic black and white. I like the big white button and white piping on the outside and the lining is really cool too. They look like they’d be super cute with either a dress or trousers and at 26 pounds they are so within reach it’s almost too good to be true. I mean, as I always say in this blog, don’t expect miracles for this price, but they do look very sweet and girlie and the low heel means relative comfort too.

You can get these on the Next website.

Mad vegan rockabilly cork wedges

vegan rockabilly cork wedges Well, it doesn’t get much crazier than this, does it? I’m not sure where you’d wear these to, how, what with or why, but here they are. They are pretty over the top in every way possible. I mean, they’ve got a wedge, they’ve got colourful tattoo designs, there’s some sort of dangly thing at the back and there’s even one with leopard print. Someone’s obviously taken every possible new rockabilly trick in the book and put it into a shoe.

I guess you need to be a very particular kind of person to be able to carry these off and do them justice and if you are that person, then you’re already reaching for your card and counting the minutes till your emotional meeting. I salute you!

Amazing vegan cabaret sequin shoes

Sparkle sparkle! Yup, we’re back to Pleaser Bordello. I love this label and I’m going to go over each and every one of their shoes during this blog’s lifespan.

These lovely sequin heels come in a few different colour combinations (including a very hot red) and just look really really nice. I like the fact that they are all quite light colours, cause I’ve often found it’s a bit difficult to find shoes to go with my lighter vintage ensembles.

I don’t know what they’re like to wear. I’ve heard mixed reports about Pleaser shoes. They look like they’d be nice to dance in, but who knows. The one thing that’s definite is that they look pretty damn hot, so you’re at the very least going to look like you’re a part of a 50s musical chorus line.

They’re available on Amazon.

Vegan black and pink baby doll heels

vegan black pink heels Aww aren’t these just lovely? Straight off the TUK website, here are these cute black and pink heels for you girls who like being cute, but also a little bit different and ever so slightly twisted. These look like something Beetlejuice’s girlfriend would wear, so get on your black and white striped tights and let’s party! I’m loving the little bow and the sturdy heel that can only mean one thing – dancing shoes!

In my experience, TUK heels are relatively stable and comfortable and also fit wider feet. They’re not exactly delicate, but that’s all a part of the look, really.

You can get these wicked heels from the TUK website.

Vegan leopard print high heel boots

vegan leopard print boots Here’s a nice pair of leopard print heels from Next.
They’re not particularly groundbreaking, but it’s a good look that never really goes out of style.

The heels look like they’d be kinda killers and not only in the “killer heels” sort of way, but also in the tottering like a wounded gazelle sort of way. But if you love your heels high and your patterns wild, then these look pretty neat and are not too expensive either, in true vegan shoe form.

I’ve seen far too many animal print shoes and boots lately that were made out of some kind of leather to resemble actual leopard skin or zebra skin or whatever, so it’s good to see more vegan versions.

I guess some people might laugh about the concept of vegans wanting to wear a pattern that originated in people actually killing and skinning wild animals and wearing the skins to convey some kind of animal powers onto them. Still, it’s not like the people who buy leopard print dyed cowhide are connecting with the primal eye of the tiger and discovering their inner savanah warrior. It’s still just a look. I’d rather show my affinity with a particular type of animal by reproducing its markings without actually killing it.

Either way, you can get these rather hot vegan boots from Next.
